Day 1

Day 1: Pickup, Transfer to Masai Mara, & Afternoon Game Drive

Upon your arrival in Kenya, your dedicated safari guide will be waiting for you at the airport, an hour before your scheduled arrival time, to warmly greet you. There are two options to reach the Mara: by road or by flight.

Opting for a flight means your guide will transfer you to Wilson airport, from where you'll embark on a scenic 45-minute flight to the Mara. The aerial view is truly captivating.

Alternatively, you can choose a road transfer, traveling in a comfortable safari land cruiser. Setting off on the tarmacked Ngiro-are road, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the majestic Rift Valley Viewpoint after approximately 45 minutes. This geographic trench stretches from Lebanon to Mozambique, showcasing stunning lakes and escarpments.

Capture breathtaking photos with the Great Rift Valley as your backdrop before continuing your journey for another 3 hours to Narok town. Here, you can make any last-minute purchases before proceeding to the camp/lodge. After lunch, the migration tour begins.

Following a short break, you'll embark on an afternoon game drive, starting at 3 pm. Witness the remarkable wildebeest migration firsthand aboard a 4×4 cruiser. During the tour, expect to encounter magnificent wildlife such as giraffes, buffalo, elephants, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and the mighty lion.

Day 2

Full-Day Game Drive with Packed Lunch

As the sun sets, the Mara reveals its true splendor, an experience exclusive to our exhilarating game drives. On the second day of your adventure, immerse yourself in this magnificent landscape. Our 4x4 Land Cruisers discreetly traverse the tranquil morning, granting optimal game viewing.

The Mara is home to fierce feline predators, easily spotted: lions, cheetahs, the renowned Big Five, and over 99 species of mammals and reptiles.

Venturing across vast grasslands, you'll head east towards the sandy thickets of Ngama Hills to catch a glimpse of the elusive black rhinos. .

At the heart of the Mara lies an intriguing paradox. Despite its dense wildlife population, it attracts fewer visitors.

The view from here is simply breathtaking, enhanced by the Mara River, the largest barrier during the migration. This unspoiled and serene part of the Mara is undeniably the highlight of our Masai Mara migration safari.

Your delightful packed lunch will be enjoyed amidst the captivating grasslands and acacia woodlands of the Central Plains. In the afternoon, the game drive continues westward, traversing the central plains of the Mara.

Anticipate encounters with a variety of herbivores, including zebras, elands, giraffes, topi, wildebeests, impalas, gazelles, and warthogs. The Mara migration remains the last surviving multi-species migration in the world.

Day 3

Full-Day Game Drive with Packed Lunch

In the Mara, each game drive is unique, debunking the myth of similarity. Day 3 of the Kenya Migration safari package presents another opportunity to seek out animals missed before.

Photographers capture intimate moments with wildlife, while birders flock to areas teeming with avian life. Game drives conclude at dusk, followed by an optional bush dinner and a glass of wine.

The highly sought-after migration safari in Kenya witnesses thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes. Although full-day tours end, you'll encounter wildebeest again on the 4th day before departing the reserve.

Day 4

Maasai Village Visit, & Transfer back to Nairobi

As your Mara adventure nears its end, enjoy an early breakfast and check out with your bag. Conclude the Masai Mara packages with a final morning game drive in a land cruiser.

Although it's the last day of the migration safari, wildebeest and other herds still abound. Later, around 10 am, visit a Maasai village. The Maasai village offers a glimpse into their rich heritage. The Maasai people have remarkably preserved their cultural traditions.

After the village tour, return to Nairobi based on your travel plans. Enjoy lunch in Narok town, arriving in the evening, with drop-off at the airport or a Nairobi hotel.
