Arrival & Nyungwe Forest Transfer
Arrive at Kigali airport, where your guide welcomes you. Travel to Nyungwe Forest in the south of Rwanda. After morning arrivals, enjoy lunch en-route before heading to Nyungwe. Dine and rest at Gisakura Guest House or Nyungwe Forest Lodge.
Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Adventure
After breakfast, proceed to the park offices for a briefing before immersing yourself in the rainforest. Hunt for elusive chimpanzees amidst the branches, capturing indelible photos and videos. The morning trek offers optimal chances to witness their awakening. Following lunch, embrace an East African exclusive – the Nyungwe canopy walk. Revel in close-up views of plants, primates, birds, and butterflies. Retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight, continuing the enriching journey.
Farewell Nyungwe and Departure
Have breakfast and thereafter embark the safari vehicle and transfer to Kigali with lunch en-route and a visit to some of the Rwanda genocide and cultural sites as you transfer back to Kigali. Drop-off at your hotel in Kigali or the airport for your onward flight.
